The U.S.S. PATHFINDER, NCC-1774, remains in low orbit over the planet Moetaka as away teams search the colony below for any signs of life following an attack by the Klingon Imperium on Stardate: 22650401.

Colony Destroyed, Few Survive

MOETAKA – Under the command of Capt. Jonathan Hunter, the Federation’s U.S.S. Pathfinder responded to a distress call sent by the fledgling Federation colony on April 1, 2265.
Ship and crew arrived to find the colony under siege by a Klingon Imperium bird-of-prey and battlecruiser.
The Constitution-class heavy cruiser was able to defeat the rebel Klingons, but not before the colony itself was destroyed when the dying Klingon cruiser plummetted through the atmosphere.
Its unstable reactor breached when the ship crashed into the heart of the colony.
Capt. Hunter led the initial search and rescue away teams, making sure his team remained on location until such time as all those still alive were beamed aboard the Pathfinder.
Few survivors were recovered from the ashes of the colony.
